Stethograph is the one of the mostly applied medical instruments in the field of health management. This hospital medical equipment consists of an air bag, an inflating hand pump, a velcro strap and connecting tubes. This medical instrument is used to get the graphic picture of the breath-rate of the patient. To produce recordings, this medical and diagnostic instrument is connected to a logbook data logger. The logger is subsequently connected to the computer to get the graphs of a person's breath-rate. Breathe-rate can be counted maintaining the minimum gap of sixty minutes and maximum of two minutes. Once a recording has been made the breathing rate is calculated by using different options available in the computer. This process will produce another graph of the frequency against power. This testing equipment is widely applied in the hospitals and bigger or smaller healthcare centers to check and analyze the breathe-rate of the patients. Mainly, for the patients those are suffering from asthma, cardiac failures and others this instrument is suitable.
