A quality control device which is used for testing or calibrating torque controlled tools is known as torque testers. Torque testers equipment includes electronic torque wrenches, click torque wrenches, dial torque wrenches, electric screwdrivers and torque screwdrivers. The main components of torque testers are transducers, digital display and run down fixtures. A torque transducer is very much similar to a load cell which is an electronic device used for converting torque into an electrical signal as the conversion happens in two stages. A key component of modern torque testers are very much available in digital display as it is used for measuring the output signal from the transducer and calculates that reads the torque value which is displayed on screen. The types of torque testers are spring cap torque testers which are designed to control the cap tightness which is considered to be an essential factor in boiling operations. These spring cap torque testers are available in two different models which are mr model which has an indicator on the removal side only and the other one is known as mra model which is known for having indicators on both the sides of the removal and application sides. Another one includes digital cap torque testers which make control of closure tightness easier and more reliable than even before these torque testers are considered to be setting the industry standards for years. The features of digital cap torque testers are that it covers the entire testing range cap sizes which are used for removal and also for the application. These torque testers are also known for holding the peak reading which is then recorded manually.
The other type includes cap torque tester a known for offering programmable high or low set points for further testing and the key features includes indicator and output signal for quick go and no go testing, also for real time and peak mode which is selectable. These are equipped with tare function, overload alarm and output signal.
