Herbal extraction plants are meant for extracting various herbal medicines and any phytochemicals from various parts of a plant or tree like the leaves, the flowers, the
seeds, the barks, the roots and the shrubs. When a herb is to be extracted properly, the cell walls of the plant must be opened to allow solvent access to the cytoplasmic phytonutrients. The extract from the different herbs, like neem, ashwagandha, mulati, amla, etc. Can be obtained in an extractor with the help of water or other solvents or with a combination of both. The extracted material is filtered and concentrated in a vacuum evaporator. Finally the concentrated material is spray dried to yield powder. The capacity of the herbal extraction plant will vary to different products.
