One of the most important ingredient used for cooking of food items is oil without which the food would not be cooked or else can be tasteless and hence the food would remain dry itself. Vegetable oil is considered as most important ingredient as it is extracted from plants like corn, soya beans, peanuts, cottonseeds and sunflower seeds. The color of the seed is very much pale in color and can be heated to high temperatures. Vegetable fats and oils are considered to be edible as well as inedible and come in the flavors thus immersing aromatic food stuffs such as garlic's, fresh herbs, peppers etc.
The types of vegetable oils are mustard oil, olive oil, palm oil, sunflower oil, soybean oil, grape seed oil and pumpkin seed oil. Mustard oil which is considered as vegetable oil as it is extracted by squeezing of mustard seeds. Thus the process gets pure and hygienic oil which is thus in pale yellow color. Mustard is regarded as the annual crop which is very much nutritious for health. Thus this oil emits a very strong smell or the aroma when it is used for cooking or for massaging. Mustard oil is used for cooking purpose which is used for salad dressing and also used to marinate meat. Also it is used for preserving pickles in the form of preservative.
The other type is the sunflower oil which is used by extracting sunflower seeds which are non volatile. This oil is used for frying and also used in the cosmetics. The oil is known for nutritional value and also for curing cardio vascular diseases. This oil retains moisture in the skin and is very much used for the infants for massaging as well to strengthen their bones as well makes their skin smoother. The other type of vegetable oil is the soya bean oil which is extracted from soya bean which is known for its nutritional value. This oil is very much used for frying and baking. Also it can be used for food items like preparation of salads for the purpose of dressing.
