Electronics test and measurement instruments are used to test, measure, analyze, and control devices. Multimeters are used to measure electrical quantities such as voltage, current, resistance, frequency and signal power. An analog multimeter displays these values via a dial, typically a moving pointer. Accelerometers are instruments for measuring, displaying, and analyzing acceleration and vibration. Inertial gyros are sensors used to measure angular rates and acceleration. Shock and vibration testing shakers provide vibration, shock or modal excitation for testing and analysis. Vibration sensors cover sensors and other instruments used for measuring vibration and acceleration. An ammeter is an instrument used to measure current and presents current information via an alphanumeric or numeric display. Breadboards and accessories are used for testing and experimenting with electronic circuits. They are covered with slots for interchanging components and electrical connection strips. Oscilloscopes are data acquisition devices and translate an electronic signal into a pattern or waveform on a screen.
