Sunglasses are a visual aid, which feature lenses that are coloured or darkened to prevent strong light from reaching the eyes. Many people find direct sunlight too bright to be comfortable, especially when reading from paper in direct sunlight. In outdoor activities like riding, skiing and flying, the eye can receive more light than usual. It has been recommended to wear sunglasses to protect the eyes from ultraviolet radiation, which can lead to the development of a cataract. These safety goggles or sunglasses can very easily be strapped around ones head thereby which they do not fall off while working. They are strong and are equipped with a special scratch resistant coating. Safety goggles prove very handy to those involved with fire fighting as these people confront highly intense flames and other flying sparks or sharp objects that could very easily blind a person if it comes in contact with ones eye. By using the safety goggle one is also enabled with a better vision through all the harmful fumes and gases. It is widely used in industries as industrial safety equipment and fire protection system.
