The burning of coal and waste in power plants which create non combustible byproduct which is known as coal ash. These ashes are of two distinct types known as coal ash and bottom ash which helps in collecting the bottom of coal furnace and thus fly ash is very much caught in the smokestacks and vast majority of the non combustible material is fly ash as it travels up in the flue gas which is caught by the chimney and also by the smokestacks. A very common fact that fly ash is made from silicon dioxide and calcium oxide which is also used as a substitute for portland cement or also can be used as a supplement to it. The material which makes fly ash is known as pozzolanic which means that they are used for binding materials or cement together. This fly ash is also known as green concrete as it binds the toxic chemicals which are present in the fly ash which prevents them from contaminating natural sources which are very much essential. These fly ash materials are known for durability factor and also for their strength.Silicon is considered to be the second largest element in the universe as it is exceeded by oxygen and also its compounds are used for many varieties for industrial application which includes metal alloy, circuits, soaps and is very much in computer applications. Few types of fly ash are coal fly ash as and when the process of coal burning in coal fired boilers and furnaces at that point of time fly ash is produced which escape into environment as particulate matter. Coal ash is used for construction industry as filler for most of the building projects and holds an important part lightweight concrete which are used in the construction projects such as bridges which are very much seen and used for commercial purpose.
The other types of fly ahs cement are fly ash cement bricks which of these are used for prepared from the natural soil which is regarded as huge loss of environment as soil takes more of the decades.
