Hybrid recorder offers the combination of digital and analog trend recording. It also offers fully programmable feature including input types, chart speed, data recording session and intervals, scaling, alarm point etc. In hybrid recorder, compact input module measure input variables, such as temperature, flow rates, strain etc. And can simultaneously record and transfer the measured data to a personal computer or store it in a memory device. Hybrid recorders also offer digital recording modes which alphanumerically list sensor measurement with time stamps, tag numbers, point numbers, etc. In this mode, the recorder can be programmed to trend record for an adjustable time period and then automatically print out a chart of measurement readings at specified time intervals. These modern day recorders usually offer digital readouts that give a digital indication of the process temperature. Many additional features such as alarm outputs, change of print color in alarm condition, self-diagnostics, etc. Are available on hybrid recorders.
