This is where dehumidifier play an important role, they help in reducing the extra humidity in the, thereby it keeping to the right percentage. The desiccant is on an heat exchange wheel. A separate air loop dries the wheel and exhausts the hot damp air outdoors through special ducting. The other type of dehumidifier is the- dehumidifier ventilator this dehumidifier has a sensor control and an exhaust fan. You can set the sensor control to run when the humidity reaches a set level. Dehumidifier ventilator work well in the basement.
