Steel casting involves the form of casting which makes use various types of steel. These steel castings come into use when iron castings are not able to deliver enough strength or shock resistance. The common examples are which include the use of steel castings are hydroelectric turbine wheels, forging presses, railroad car frames and machineries used in mining with which steel castings is divided in two types these are alloy steel and carbon steel. The methods of steel castings consists employing metal molds which is considered to be one of the chief points for coating that molds with the help of chalk and paraffin. Another part which is called as shaw employs metal molds.The other method is known as the electric casting method which appears o be simple as this method of melting steel by connecting it to one terminal of a strong electric circuit which is very much essential. The other method is known as falk's method which is intended for uniting the ends of the rails where an iron mold is kept or placed on which then hot metal is poured. Cast iron is very much known for durability and when the process is completed impurities like sulfur are then subtracted. Cast irons are very much used for cooking purpose and for food items like eggs which stick to the surface. The use of cast iron was also considered to be a boon for 18th century as during that time these iron casts were used for building construction trade because of the weight bearing capacity. Iron and steel cast find its application in industries and also in various sectors like in those of steel manufacturing as these have large amount of capacity. An iron steel casting makes use of other nonferrous metals like copper, brass, gunmetal etc. These are manufactured using premium quality of cast iron which is graded and steel casting is also applied as these pulleys are very much sturdy and can withstand large loads.
