A transparent, hard protective finish which is primarily used in wood finishing but for other material is known as varnishes. These varnishes are used for wood finishing which gives them very shiny, glossy and glazy look. The finish looks more beautiful and also enhances the charm of the product. The process of varnishes includes drying of oil, resin, thinner or solvent. These are designed to produce satin or semi gloss shines which looks marvelous and very enchanting. Components of classic varnishes are resin, turpentine or solvent etc which holds much of importance for varnishes. The types of varnishes are violin, resin, shellac, alkyd etc. In other aspect varnishes are considered as final coatings which protect the pictures from the build of grease and dirt which leave behind the stains and are not easy to remove them once they settle down. Varnishes have o be chosen keeping in the mind the requirements and the needs of the people. The elaboration of varnishes is different in each and every aspect as because these are considered to be resin dissolved in turpentine or is a mixture of turpentine and of drying oil such as linseed oil. Types of varnishes are oil varnishes, insulating varnishes, wood varnishes etc. Decoration which is produced by these varnishes is important as the purpose is served for the protection of wood which is very much essential. Decoration talks about simple and beautiful effect which is thus left behind when these varnishes are applied. The glossy effect and marvelous look is very much appreciated. The other types of varnishes are epoxy phenolic varnishes which hold the ability to make excellent wood glue which is the used for many purposes. Insulating varnishes are ideal for in motor manufacturing and in coil manufacturing as these varnishes are provided with the technical literature because of its assured quality factor. The other type includes clear varnishes which are very much known as air dying polyurethane insulting varnish and also is equipped with the thermal class. Varnishes add a protective layer to the wooden products which look amazing as it provides it with a smooth finish.
