Ultraviolet Curable Adhesives

Ultraviolet curable adhesives are usually used for glass bonding applications. Uv curable adhesives cures upon exposure to ultraviolet light. These adhesives remains in liquid state until they come in contact with uv radiation(sunlight). Ultraviolet pressure sensitive adhesives are used for the tape and label industry. Hot melt acrylics and room temperature epoxies are also cured with uv light exposure. Uv curable adhesives have an outstanding heat resistance, plasticizer and chemical resistance. Most of the uv light curable adhesives are solvent free which are suitable for a variety of applications.
