Sealant a term which has unique feature of changing the state to become solid when once applied thus for the prevention of air, gases, noise, dust etc. These sealants are used for closing the small openings which are difficult to shut with other materials like concrete, drywall. These sealants have low strength and high elongation than that of the adhesives. The types of the sealants include acrylic, floor, silicon and plastic.Floor sealants are protective coatings which are applied to the coatings thus to prevent these floors. These sealants are made from variety of materials like plastic, polymers and adhesives which forma a strong bond. Horizontal surfaces can effectively increase their life expectancy by applying the layers of these floor sealants. The use of pressure sprayers are made to spread the floor sealant evenly on the lower surface of these floors. While using these floor sealants one thing to remember is that the floors should be kept clean as any debris might reduce the cohesion which is later on removed. The types of the floor sealant are wood and natural stone floor sealant which are designed to seep below the surface of the porous natural material thus to form a strong bond. These floor sealants stick only to the top surface and also on the non porous flooring material. Fully cured floor sealants prevent water from entering the floor also from leaving the flooring material so that it would stabilize its moisture content. The other type is the epoxy floor sealant which is an ultra durable flooring protection which is often used on cement flooring. Tinted and opaque color suits the best as it alters the look of the flooring to match the colors in surrounding space. These floor sealants are applied few inches up which are at the base of the adjacent walls.
