In architectural language mezzanines are considered to be intermediate floors between main floors of the buildings which connect them. These mezzanines are not counted among overall floors of the building as it is very much different than that of the regular floors. Industrial mezzanines have a semi floor system which are very much semi permanent floors than those of the regular ones in the industries. These mezzanines are often used in shopping malls and multiplexes. These mezzanines are very much similar to those of the storages which are used for tools or for keeping other materials.Mezzanines are used for adding extra workspace which then is utilized for keeping or occupying for various purposes. The types of mezzanines are storage mezzanines which are designed to create new space efficiently and quickly. Mezzanines racking make use of vertical space which otherwise go waste or is not into use so these are designed in a way so that it can be utilized for other purposes. It converts the occupied space into usable storage like the production, office area which is at the cost of the construction. The other type is the rack mounted mezzanines which are used for racking systems and also in the areas which are needed from the top level which are to be free of utility.
Mezzanines floors are very much installed in the buildings which are built between two permanent original stories of the buildings. These can be dismantled or can be re erected at any location within a short span of time which would be then very much utilized. These mezzanines are widely used in the industrial application like warehousing, distribution or manufacturing. These mezzanines are termed as the intermediate floors which are just above the main floors. The mezzanine floors could be correctly heard and seen in the lift while it is moving up and down.
