The belt weigher provides a simple, accurate way to measure the flowrate of bulk material passing along a conveyor belt using a modweigh processor. It is a single idler type unit, designed for simplicity, durability, and ease of installation. The complete unit is very low profile and therefore causes no interference with the returning belt underneath. They are available in either single or dual idler formats. The dual belt weigher is used in wood chip conveying systems. The belt weighers have wide applications including: production rate measurement, production totals, inventory control, flow control and blending. The most common features the belt weighers available are; they built in rugged constructions for harsh environments, painted, galvanized or stainless steel construction. They are suitable for flat or throughed belts and level or inclined belts. They are often featured with overload protected, high accuracy and single idler for compact design and simplicity.
