Die cutting involves die cut of sheet plastic, corrugated plastic, chipboard, fabric, rubber, felt, cork, thin metals, wood, acrylic, composites, fiberglass, magnets, sponge, custom die cuts or any other flat material normally found in the industry. Cutting allows for the production of many identically shaped items to be created in a relatively short time and without the use of complicated machinery. In the process of die cutting foam, the foam is cut into pieces, cast as a sheet or dies cut to specification. They may be further coated with adhesive, glue, or sonically welded together.
