Gummed labels are made out of waste paper or re cycled paper by certain manufacturers. Gummed and self adhesive labels have water soluble particle gum at the backside of the label. These labels are suitable for laser and ink jet printers. Also these labels are used in making labels on ones own. Paper labels, plastic labels and foil labels have gum or an adhesive on the backside for firm bonding to surfaces. These gummed labels are also known as stickers in colloquial language.
