Adhesive mixers are basically equipments used for the mixing and blending of materials at a certain temperature, to make water based adhesives. A mixer basically consists of a series of internal baffles or other elements within a plastic tube. Adhesive inputs are forced through the mixer. This is done so that all the adhesive components that are added are mixed together through a repeated dividing and recombining process so that we get a complete and uniform mixture. Use of such mixers has many advantages as these mixers improve the consistency of the mix. This is a very important requirement as the air can cause a void in the cured bond lines, which could cause a bonding failure.
