It is estimated that millions of workers are exposed to noise levels above the legal limit. To stop this percentage from rising further, sound control equipment instrument like barriers, panels and suppressor is required. Sound suppressor can be either sound absorbent or sound isolating. Sound isolation involves generally stiff, heavy material, which literally stops sound from passing through it, due to massed consistency. Sound absorption involves porous, open celled material, and stops sound by soaking it up. Sound isolation is the most effective of the two options when attempting to stifle noise pollution, however in some cases they can be employed together ensuring maximum protection. In many cases, sound pollution can be controlled by using this noise suppressor. Such energy saver is applicable as acoustic ceiling panel, acoustic wall panel and acoustic sound panel. Sound supressors either take large total supressor volume, moderately large volume plus many baffles, or wipes. A very small and compact supressor is designed with wipes which effectively silences a pistol. However, these supressors have a lifetime of few shots and typically no more than a few magazines of ammunition. Larger wipeless gun suppressor or rifle supressor, degined with baffle only, may be nearly as effective for long lifetimes (hundreds or thousands of shots) but are relatively bulky, clumsy, and heavy.
