The necessity for waste collection systems for solid and hazardous wastes has been on a great rise due to the health problems and other environmental problems caused by them. Since then, considerable attention has been paid to the potential of such programs to divert materials from disposal. Due to the great demand many new low-cost alternative methods are being developed as well as invented for dust collectors and so some municipalities are experimenting with alternative collection systems such as "wet/dry" collection systems, three stream collection systems and "co-collection" of waste and recyclables in order to reduce costs. Variability is a key element in every solid dust collection system. Many items of day-to-day use, or mandatory use contain or cause hazardous wastes into the environment, which in turn cause all kinds of water and air pollution. This list includes paints, electronics -- computers, chemical cleaners, oils, pesticides, batteries, medicines -- and even light bulbs contain toxins that pose potential danger to human and the environment. Hazardous waste collection systems and waste depots are being established to reduce and eliminate the amount of waste that is being improperly disposed of.
