The safe chemical storage is very essential with the point of view of security of health of the citizens. Hence, there are many industrialists are offering different techniques for the chemical storage handling and chemical feeding. The same types of chemicals are stored together in either chemical storage tanks, or chemical storage cabinets, or, if in large quantities, in chemical storage buildings. Expect for acids, as they are corrosive, they should be stored away from each other. For the storage of solvents and flammable chemicals, a proper equipment requires to be used and also, it needs to be stored in a limited quantity. Certain chemicals, which react when in contact with air, are stored in air-tight chemical storage container. Different chemicals are stored under different conditions and also are differentiated by putting numbers or coloured bands on the chemical storage containers. The rooms that are chosen for chemical storage should be well-ventilated and preferably equipped with an exhaust fan that will accomplish at least six air changes per hour.
