Sewage pumps ideally deal with sewage or 'grey' water containing soft solids. The submersible sewage pumps are introduced with the intention of pumping semi-screened raw sewage and grey water with ease. The manufacturers have designed these pollution control devices have many benefits and features including the double mechanical seal in oil bath with hard faced silicon carbide / ceramic seal on pump side for added motor protection and long service life. Its structure also contains a sand slinger lip seal for added protection. The basement sewage pumps are made from corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel and are fitted with an automatic float switch with a preset float length for safe unattended operation. The residential sewage pump contains an open impeller, single channel centrifugal design to prevent the blockage of the pump by small solids in slurry. Some sewage pumps in addition, contain a mounting base fitted for a firm and stable positioning during installation and operation. The hydromatic sewage pump is applicable in sewage water pumping, sump emptying, septic effluent and sewage water disposal, water transfer and pumping of light slurries as well as factory waste.
