Ultra filteration systems is a portable, trailer mounted filter/separator designed to remove particulate, free water and emulsified water, whereby eliminating expensive maintenance and minimizing equipment down-time. Ultra filteration systems produce ultra pure water. The ultra-filtration process uses permeation through a membrane to separate the water being treated from the solids suspended in it, as well as from colloidal matter and high molecular weight compounds. Ultra filteration system is mainly used for surface water treatment and as a pre-treatment for reverse osmosis. Ultra-filtration makes it possible to recover suspended solids from process water, rather than discharging them in the wastewater. The applications of these ultra filteration systems include oil/water separation, water purification, cod reduction, recovery of specialty chemicals and hazardous waste remediation.
