Other applications for amt include reagent for chemical analysis such as for medical diagnosis. Pricat catalysts are widely used in the production of oleochemical, chemicals, chemical intermediates, and refinery products. In oleochemical applications catalyst is used in reaction activity like hydrogenation process, for fatty acids, unsaturated and saturated fatty nitriles to primary amines etc, amination, reductive alkylation, dehydration etc.
For chemicals, chemical intermediates and refinery, products catalyst is used in hydrogenation process include dearomatization solvents, white oils, diesel, gasoline. Aromatics to cycloaliphatics, cyclohexane, cyclohexanone, cyclohexylamine, aldehydes to alcohol oxo alcohol, neopentylglycol, furfuryl alcohol, ketones to alcohol, i-propanol, methyl phenyl carbinol, aromatic nitro groups to amines aniline, amino aromatics. The polishing and hydropolishing process like the removal of trace compounds like waxes, iactam, alcohol, cyclohexane resins etc.
