| Centreless Grinding Machines
|
These centreless grinding machines are similar to centered grinding except that there is no spindle. This allows high throughput since parts can be quickly inserted and removed from the process. It has many outstanding features, which ensure high micro-finishes and close tolerance at fast production speeds. There are three main types of centreless grinding machines available in the market. The through- feed grinding which is useful for rapidly processing many parts in quick sequence, the in-feed grinding in which the part is not fed axially so that the ground surface does not need to be a right circular cylinder. And this type does not have the high throughput of through-feed grinding and the end-feed grinding in which wheel can be dressed to form more complex shapes.
