Crack detectors are ideal testing devices often used to detect the edge cracks for various industries. Edge cracks cause many problems and can occur huge costs in paper machines, calenders, winders, coating machines and print machines. The crack detector acts as an analogic sensor and uses latest and safe opto-electronic components, detecting any little geometrical anomaly on the edge of a fast moving web, thin, dark or clear. Magnetic detectors are used in detecting cracks in steel metals.
