Also potassium hydroxide is widely used in the chemical industries as de foaming agents used in manufacturing of paper, formulation aid for food etc. Potassium hydroxide which is in the powdered form is used in manufacturing of cosmetics, medicine intermediate and also in potassium chemicals. Also is very used in synthetic rubber, food addictives and dye stuffs.
