Organic chemicals often called as hydrocarbons, are formed with the building blocks of the molecular structure e.G. Carbon and hydrogen. They include all alcohol-based chemicals like acetic acid, acetic anhydride and nitroaromatics nitrobenzene, nitrotoluene, and other chemicals such as citric acid, sorbitol, naphthalene etc. Ethanol is an organic chemical often available in two types like potable and industrial alcohol. Industrial chemical is used as a feedstock for organic chemicals. It is basically used as the building block for acetaldehyde, ethylene, glycol etc. Acetic acid is a colorless liquid with pungent odour. This is an intermediary used for the production of vinyl acetate monomer, purified tetraphthalic acid and acetic anhydride. Ethyl acetate is a clear, volatile; inflammable liquid often used in the formulation of adhesives and lacquers. It is also used as a varnish and as a flavoring agent and as a solvent in paints. Acetic anhydride is used in the manufacture of pigments, dyes, cellulose and pesticides etc.
