The fuel additive range of distillate additives stabilizes heating oils and diesel fuels by retarding the formation of gums, insoluble residues and color bodies. Fuel oil additives act as either antioxidants that prevent fuel degradation or as dispersants to prevent sludge-formation residues. Optimized fuel performance can be obtained by combining foas with other functional octel starreon additives. This highly concentrated petroleum product contains combustion catalysts, dispersants and detergents and a rust and corrosion prevention additive system that allows dispersion of water present in the fuel in order to prevent icing and other problems associated with water and less heat transfer.
