Condensed milk adds a taste to the sweet dishes whenever the milk is poured on the dish or on any food item. Very often used in sweet dish and also is very famous in the parts of the western countries. Condensed milk is prepared by using cow's milk from which the water is removed and then the sugar is added to the milk and eventually it is made thick. Sweet condensed milk or condensed are becoming popular and have gained importance as it can be used to make the recipe thick op maintain its consistency. It can be termed as concentrated milk with added sugar turning it into creamy and light yellow color. Condensed milk is known for destroying majority of microorganism. The use of either skim milk is made or whole milk is made.The manufacturing of condensed milk goes through various stages which is standardization where it is brought up to the level of making it higher in the quality. Then the sugar is added to make it sweet and taste better. The other three stages evaporation, cooling, speeding and crystallization where the process is carried smoothly as and when the milk is evaporated completely the cooling of the milk takes place after the milk is completely dried up it is sent for the crystallization which is the last method. The last but not least and which is very important it is packaging in sterilized cans which is sent to the wholesalers and retailers which then eventually goes to the consumers. Storage also plays an important role as when it is prepared in bulk quantity it is stored and then it is packed.
Dishes which are made by using condensed milk are toffee candy, bread and butter pudding and chocolate ice cream blast. Condensed milk is used for deserts which makes them very tasty and also acts as a binding item for the ingredients which would remain intact and thick.
