Active carbon is used for removal of hydrogen sulphide from industrial gas and gas streams and to purify and scrub hydrogen sulphide from flue gas and natural gas from air channels after affiliation additive. Activated carbon offers in large and in specific surface area, strong absorbability, excellent chemical stability and mechanical strength. They can resist acid, alkali and heat. They acted not only as an excellent absorbent but a catalyzer and catalyzer carrier. They are available in two primary kinds such as coal-based carbon and wood base carbon. The coal base carbon includes powered grade, granular grade and columnar grade. They are widely used in industrial production, agriculture, environmental protection, national defense, water purification and the discoloration of medicinal and material intermediates. The activated carbon powders are used to decolourizing odour control and purification, for decolorizing liquid sugars, pharmaceuticals, medicines and injections.
