Property testers are used to determine various physical properties of samples, including distillation, vapor pressure, and cloud, flash, freezing, melting, or pour point. Polarimeters are used to determine the amount of polarization of light. Extensometers are used to indicate the deformation of material while it is subjected to stress and fluorometers measure the amount of fluorescent radiation.
